Official Sack Rankings exists because the circle deserved a court of record. The regional accounts — NJ Sack, NJ House of Sack, IS Preps, Prep Sack, Sack Globe, USA Sack Mag, MPA Sack Report, WCAC Hacky Sack, USA Hacky Sack League — have, between them, kept the score for years. The site is the consolidator: a national board adjudicated weekly, a regional view adjudicated daily, and a class-of view that follows each player from the wall through commit.
The Editor — known on the masthead as The Adjudicator — does not appear on the leaderboard. The Editor does not coach. The Editor does not commission tape. The Editor reviews tape that exists, weighs vote totals that have been cast, and assembles the cycle every forty-eight hours.
The site does not believe its own rankings are sacred. The site believes the circle is sacred. The rankings are a mirror — held up the same week the cycle ends and discarded by the next one. If your program rose two spots last cycle, congratulations. If it fell two spots, congratulations again. The bag is dropped, the round resets, the circle continues.
